KVK, Anjaw organized training cum demonstration on oyster mushroom cultivation.
KVK, Anjaw under NABARD funded project on “Nutritional security and livelihood improvement of tribal through Mushroom production technology’’ organized training cum demonstration on Oyster Mushroom Production technology at Krongna on 18th Jan, 2017 . More than 25 farm women and rural youth attended the training programme. Rebecca Eko, SMS Horticulture welcomed the participants and briefed the gathering about the importance of Mushroom. Dr. Senpon Ngomle, SMS Plant Protection was the coordinator of the training programme. He acquainted the participants about various aspect of mushroom cultivation and was given training for the cultivation of oyster mushroom and urges the participants to start cultivating mushroom on a commercial scale. At the end of the prograame a visit to mushroom production unit of Krongna SHG was done.
